At BAK, we have made reducing our environmental impact a core tenet of our business.
PLASTIC FREE PACKAGING
Recognizing the detrimental impact of millions of tons of plastic on our oceans and waterways, Raynor Foods is actively seeking alternatives to plastic to diminish our environmental footprint. We are proud to announce that our menu is now 80% plastic-free.
HYDROPONIC SALAD & SPROUT PRODUCTION
In the future, we are committed to expanding the range of ingredients grown on-site, experimenting with new flavors and varieties.
LOCAL & SUSTAINABLE INGREDIENTS & SUPPLIERS
BAK prioritizes local, responsible suppliers, sourcing materials sustainably, as recognized by the Forest Stewardship Council. This commitment ensures the traceability and freshness of our ingredients. All palm oil-containing ingredients are certified sustainable. We exclusively use fish and shellfish not listed on the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) list of fish to avoid.
FOOD SAFETY & TRACEABILITY
To enhance food safety and traceability, we've increased our on-site production of sandwich ingredients. We prepare many of our own sandwich fillings and mixes to uphold the standards required for our products. External suppliers must meet our rigorous supplier approval criteria.
